Having Many Religious Songs, Purple Is Flooded With Manggung Offers Throughout Ramadan

JAKARTA - Ungu is one of Indonesia's pop bands that has many religious songs. At least seven religious albums have been released, with various hits like If I Know and With Your Breath.

Therefore, it is not surprising that Ungu got many gig offers along Ramadan.

After releasing an extended play (EP) or mini album Baik Dan Badammu Tuhan Yang Tahu some time ago, Pasha said the schedule for the Ungu gig was quite tight.

"We have been scheduled. Almost a month this will be full in the month of Ramadan. Maybe we are as usual, until Eid al-Fitr, actually," said Pasha.

"God willing, and it's an annual activity, don't be surprised," he added.

With several religious songs that have become hits, it does not mean that Pasha cs is complacent. They want to continue to write new religious works, the latest EP is one example.

The challenge that then appeared, maybe Ungu scored a new religious hit song? Of course we are not tired of making new works, until we find a point that can match our previous religious song," said Pasha.

Meanwhile, about the choice of songs during concerts, Ungu doesn't care. They have no problem if asked to bring songs from the previous album.

"Essentially, we have another concert for the song. If we look at the repertoire of the song, it contains 10 to 12 songs. The end of the song is old again. Bringing a new song is risky, like it or not, something must be sacrificed, including the feelings of people who miss old songs. They will definitely be annoyed and complain, "explained Pasha.
