Voice Of Baceprot Enters One Decade, Widi: Give It Longer!

JAKARTA - Starting as a cover band that began to form in Garut, West Java, in 2014, the journey of Voice of Baceprot (VoB) to date has been through a decade filled with many achievements.

Marsya (vocals, guitars), Widi (bass), and Siti (drums) have held tours around Europe and the United States. They have also received an award at the 202w Indonesian Music Award as Best Duo/Group Rock Collaboration.

Summarizing 10 years of VoB's journey, Widi said he was proud of the many things that had been achieved.

Voice of Baceprot is entering the age of a decade. Many people then said congratulations and prayers. Honestly, I was very happy and proud. Because in the past I never thought that my journey with VoB would be this far. But I even found it difficult to reveal it," Widi wrote in an Instagram upload, seen on Sunday, February 18th.

"My heart, I feel like I've been suddenly 10 years old. I didn't feel it. Even though when it was remembered during that time there was a lot of joy and sorrow. I often feel happy, often feel proud, often disappointed, often cry and often want to scold anyone who likes to insult and demean our existence.," he said.

Although 10 years is not a short time for a band, Widi believes VoB still has a long time to grow. He wants the band to continue working for longer.

"I'm happy, I'm proud of myself and my VoB. Even though I don't really like counting one, two, three years and so on, but I believe there are still many things that can be done with VoB to be victorious, happy and prosperous. Yes, that's all, to survive his life more yahiah," said Widi.

"Come on Voice of Baceprot, live longer!," he concluded.
