Special, Reza Artamevia And Two Songs For Zahwa And Aaliyah On The Movement Of Soul Album

JAKARTA - Reza Artamevia has just released a full album titled Movement of Soul. This album is important because for the first time he has returned after 21 years.

Movement of Soul is also important because Reza included two songs that took the titles of his two daughters, Zahwa and Aaliyah.

"Alhamdulillah, all of my albums are special. But this is something more special because 21 years, the nuances are different, and this is a offering for my daughters," said Reza Artamevia during the release of the album in Kemang, South Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the song titled Zahwa was intended for his first daughter, Zahwa Rezi Massaid. This song was once included in the album Belief (2002), which was later presented back to a new album.

In the past, in the lyrics there was no name Zahwa. Now I changed it, so there is the name Zahwa in the lyrics," said Reza.

Meanwhile, the song titled Aaliyah is intended for his youngest daughter, Aaliyah Massaid. This song has been written for a long time, but has only been released on the Movement of Soul album.

Tells the story behind the writing of the song Aaliyah, Reza admits that he wrote it when the princess was still a child. However, he said that it was Aaliyah who first released and sang songs for himself.

"This Aaliyah song I wrote at that time he was still small, his hair was still kriwil, still in elementary school. Suddenly he even composed a song for his mother and released it first on Mother's Day, the title was Knowing Love," he said.

In accordance with the title of the latest album, Reza Artamevia wants to make the Movement of Soul an illustration of all his wishes in terms of music, including writing songs for his two daughters.

"In the Movement of Soul, I have had so many dreams for 21 years. So, when I wanted to make an album, at that time I said I wanted to spill everything on this album," concluded Reza Artamevia.
