The Black Crowes Announces First Album With New Material Since 2009

JAKARTA - The Black Crowes announced their first album with new material in 15 years, Happinesstanies.

On Friday, January 12, the southern rock band announced the release of its new full album via Instagram.

Obviously to the past... 15 years since our last new music album, we present 'Happinessmens', our 10th studio album, which was released on March 15,' reads the caption of the post.

The announcer was attached to a video of a man attaching the album's art (artwork) posters to a brick wall attached to the cover of The Black Crowes' old album.

According to Consequence, brothers Chris and Rich Robinson previously explained more about the importance of this album in a press release.

"Robinson Brothers claim this important year as their own year," it reads. "Even though they have overcome the differences that have existed over the years, they are now two happy people, with a winning album they can show."

Happinessitions is our love letter to rock n' roll, added Chris Robinson. Rich and I always write and create music; it never stops for us, and this is where we always find harmony together. This album represents that.

Rich Robinson also revealed that the band is working with Jay Joyce, who is also producing the works of Carrie Underwood, Orville Peck, Eric Church and FIDLAR.

"Our experience over the years of writing and making music and traveling around the world is represented in this album, and we are brilliantly guided by one of the best producers in the business, Jay Joyce. I am very proud of what we are doing."

The announcement was accompanied by the release of the album's main single, namely Winting And Waiting. Listen to the song below.
