Eight other Palestinians were killed and 26 others were injured in the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll from Israel's genocide in the blockaded territory since October 2023 to an all-time high, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry said hospitals in Gaza received eight bodies and 26 injured victims in the last 24 hours, Anadolu (30/6) reported.

The ministry did not detail the circumstances surrounding the casualties, as the Israeli army continued to violate the October 2025 ceasefire through shootings and gunfire in various parts of the region.

A number of victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the road, with ambulance and civil defense teams still unable to reach them, the ministry added.

According to the ministry, the number of deaths due to Israeli violations of the ceasefire has risen to 1,053, while another 3,406 have been injured, since the agreement in November 2025.

The ministry also revealed that the total number of deaths due to the Israeli genocide has reached 73,066 and 173,514 others have been injured.

In addition to human casualties, the campaign caused widespread damage, destroying about 90 percent of Gaza's civilian infrastructure, while the United Nations estimates the cost of reconstruction needed to reach about $70 billion.
