A Year After The Heart Bypass Operation, Donny Fattah Is Ready To Appear At The God Bless Gold Concert

JAKARTA - Donny Fattah is ready to appear with Achmad Albar, Ian Antono, Abadi Soesman and Fajar Satritama at the 50 Years of God Bless Gold Concert at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta on November 10.

Although it cannot be said that he is in his best condition, Donny Fattah expressed his readiness to appear. Instead, he was happy to be able to participate.

"I am very happy to be able to rejoin my friends, let alone celebrate 50 years with God Bless," said Donny Fattah when met in Senayan, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, October 25.

Regarding the heart bypass surgery he underwent a year ago, Donny Fattah said he would not perform fully throughout the concert.

However, he stated that his condition had gotten better since undergoing surgery.

"If the condition, after a year of bypass surgery, Alhamdulillah is good. Of course, the better, through the healing process, day by day the better. That's why I haven't been able to fully participate," said Donny Fattah.

"So, I might just open, then be in the middle and final," he continued.

Donny Fattah, who had been in God Bless from the start, when he first appeared at Taman Ismail Marzuki in March 1973, saw the celebration of this golden age as a blessing.

There is a very big sense of pride, known as a member of a rock band that is still active in music after 50 years.

"God Bless is a gimmick. As the name implies, how come there has never been a dream, from the beginning for this band, we never felt we would be top, even called legends. Thank God, his name happens to be God Bless. For me personally, it's really a gimmick, God's gift," he said.
