Cherrypop Festival 2023 Day 2, Greenhouse Effects Make Spectators Spread And Wrapped Hands Simultaneously

JAKARTA - The Greenhouse (ERK) effect became one of the performers on the second day of the Cherrypop Festival 2023 which was held at Sleman, DIY, on Sunday (20/8). The appearance of this indie band from Jakarta is highly anticipated by young people, especially song lovers with poetic lyrics and full of resistance to injustice.

The effect of Rumah Kaca appeared at 20.30 WIB on the Cherry Stage stage. As soon as the personnel got on stage, the audience flocked to meet one of the field spots at Asram Edupark and shouted hysterically. With a duration of 45 minutes, ERK sang more than five of its popular songs to entertain its fans.

Awake The Spirit Of Resistance Against Injustice

The Green House effect is known for its songs that are full of fighting spirit or resistance to typhetamine. So far, the songs have often been performed in demonstrations to events with the theme of opposing oppression ranging from agrarian, political, and other cases.

As compiled in one struggle, the audience, the majority of the young generation, immediately paved their hands when Cholil Mahmud (vocals) sang songs. With the background of the red stage lights, the audience also sang loudly to fight for truth and honesty in fighting against all forms of injustice in this country.

The song Puitis Effect Rumah Kaca also gives a soft touch through its poetic songs. In the midst of the winter night of the dry season, ERK also sang several mellow songs, such as December, Next to the Eyes, White, and others.

The band, which was founded in 2001, was very good at pleasing the audience's emotions from being inflamed, to being able to dampen and soften it. When the song December was sung, the audience sing a long while occasionally closing their eyes enjoyed every lyric which means waiting.

When the song Next to Mata is sung, the stage lights are trimmed following the lyrics, dark is a loyal friend. Towards the end of this song, the audience is invited to turn on the flashlight and slow down to the left and to the right.

In this music festival, which was filled with more than thirty musicians, the Greenhouse Effect succeeded in satisfying the audience. ERK is like a champion in regulating the audience's mood, from inflamed to soft playing.
