Hyundai Reveals The Tough Form Of Santa Cruz Facelift

JAKARTA - Rumored for a long time, the facelift version of Hyundai Santa Cruz officially shows its shape with a number of changes on the outside and inside.

Reporting from Motor1, Thursday, March 28, this dual cabin pickup car has a newer grip with a more perpendicular pattern in the form of a rectangular shape, thus showing a classy impression of the model.

This dashing impression continues in the new rim and back facilities. Especially for the XRT trim, the manufacturer presents it with tires of all terrain to help grip while on the difficult track.

Furthermore, the XRT variant gets several special touches such as the presence of red crane hooks on the front and 18-inch rims.

The interior also underwent changes with the presence of infotainment in the driver and center. Each has a size of up to 12.3 inches located above the new dashboard.

Then, Hyundai gave the model a rubber-style steering wheel with varying control sets for audio and climate settings located in the middle. The central console is decorated with prominent transmissions.

Other technologies were also presented consisting of connectivity of Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto at all trims. Then, the BlueLink+ system is also installed along with the payment feature in Hyundai Pay vehicles.

For safety features, Hyundai Santa Cruz has additional functions such as Forward Attention Warning. Meanwhile, the XRT trim will get a surround-view and blind-spot camera.

The bottom of the engine hood is presented with a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine measuring 191 dk with the choice of moving front wheels and all wheels.

Also presented is the most powerful option with a 2.5 liter turbo engine that produces 281 dk of power and 421 Nm of torque joins DCT transmission eight accelerations. For trim XRT and Limited, it has a towing mode that can produce loads of up to 2,267 kg.

It is scheduled that the model will arrive at the dealer network this summer at a price to be announced in the near future.
