Celebrating EV Journey Experience, Wuling BinguoEV Completes 1,375 Km Travel

JAKARTA - Supporting the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia, Wuling Motors (Wuling) participated in enlivening the EV Journey Experience held by PLN Icon Plus.

EV Journey Experience is an event organized by PLN Icon Plus, where this activity aims to prove the readiness of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia and show that long-distance travel using electric cars can be done without obstacles.

With a total distance of about 1,375 kilometers or Jakarta to Mandalika, this trip involved 27 participants using 9 electric cars from 6 different brands, including Wuling. The participants passed 7 checkpoints and 75 points of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) spread along the route. This trip begins with a release ceremony at the PLN Icon Plus office located in Mampang, South Jakarta. Furthermore, BinguoEV carried out fast charging using the DC charging station Wuling which has been operating in the KM 207A and KM 379A rest areas. Then, BinguoEV carried out charging at several points including the PLN Rest Area Sragen KM 519 SPKLU, Wuling Bless Surabaya dealers, PLN Rest Area Utama Situbondo SPKLU Hotel Santika Banyuwangi, PLN ULP Mengwi Bali, Wuling Mataram dealers, until arriving at the Mandalika International Circuit.

Regarding BinguoEV itself, this second electric vehicle in Wuling in Indonesia appears with an iconic and timeless design, carrying a compact dimension that optimizes space and comfort.

This one car is equipped with a 50 kWh electric motor powered by a lithium ferro-phosphate (LFP) battery with a standard IP67 capacity of 31.9 kWh with a distance of up to 333 kilometers when the battery is fully charged.

In addition, Wuling BinguoEV is also supported by a modern driving feature that adds comfort when traveling long distances. One of them is the Cruise Control feature which is integrated on the left side of the steering circle. This feature can be activated above a speed of 40 km/hour to maintain speed consistently and adjust speed via the steering button.
