Ford Bronco Confirmed To Enter Philippine Market

JAKARTA - Ford started the new year with a pleasant surprise for SUV fans, with confirmation that Ford Bronco will soon launch in the Philippine market.

From its first launch in 1966 to Ford released the sixth generation Bronco for the 2021 model, after a 25-year hiatus, this tough off-road SUV played a role in hundreds of television shows and movies, all of which were used as private transportation by celebrities to criminals.

Reporting from the Top Gear Philippines page on Wednesday, January 3, news of Ford Bronco's presence is certainly an attraction in itself given the high popularity of Ford Bronco in the Philippine market.

Previously, the arrival of Bronco had become a topic of conversation after Ford's dealer group, AutoHub. Then, Ford Philippines officially announced that the SUV will be sold in the Philippines.

"Ford Philippines confirmed the launch of Ford Bronco this year. This car will soon be opened for reservation exclusively through Ford's online reservation portal atfordph," the official statement said.

However, the statement has not provided further details regarding the specifications of Bronco's products, prices, or booking times. However, it was promised that more detailed information would be shared near the launch date.

Regarding specifications, Ford Philippines is still keeping the information a secret. However, globally, Bronco is present in two body models, namely three doors with short wheelbase and five doors with long wheelbase. In addition, there are two choices of engines, namely a 2.3 liter turbo engine that produces 300 hp of power, and a 2.7 liter V6 twin-turbo engine with a power of 330 hp.
