Donald Trump Brings The United States To Resign From The Paris Climate Agreement In Today's Memory, June 1, 2017

JAKARTA Memories of today, seven years ago, June 1, 2017, President Donald Trump announced that the United States (US) will withdraw from the 2015 Paris Agreement (Paris Climate Agreement). Trump considers the US resignation a precise step that takes Uncle Sam's country away from the puddle of losses.

Previously, Trump was known as a figure who did not believe in the phenomenon of climate change. The rise in geothermal temperatures that are predicted to cause various kinds of disasters is considered no more as a fraudulent scheme to raise taxes.

The threat of climate change is increasingly threatening the whole earth. Changes in temperature and long-term weather patterns are starting to bring disaster. The presence of natural disasters is more frequent, such as drought, flooding, and long-term land as evidence.

The most easy to understand is the increase in geothermal temperatures. This increase in temperature makes it more difficult for people to work and carry out activities. Even forest fires are easier and faster. The world also concluded that climate change must be handled immediately by mitigation and adaptation.

High Level Conferences related to climate change are rolled out a lot. There are countries that help each other to tackle climate change. There is no urgency. Because, once neglecting natural disasters and social disasters increasingly threatens the existence of a country. Poverty will continue to grow.

However, not all world celebrities then believe in climate change. Take for example Donald Trump. The famous entrepreneur is a person who does not recognize the presence of climate change. The candidate for US presidential candidate from the Democratic Party sometimes also considers the phenomenon of climate change to be nothing more than a hoax.

A fraudulent scheme designed only to raise taxes. Trump thinks that warming the earth's temperature hasn't just happened recently. In the past, the US had felt one of the worst heat waves in 1936.

The heat wave came even before the term global warming or climate change surfaced. Trump saw the common thread. Climate change and whatever it calls, global warming to greenhouse gas effects is nothing more than an ordinary natural phenomenon.

"I'm not a person who believes in global warming, I don't believe in human- engineered global warming. In 1920, media were busy reporting on global cooling, now they're talking about global warming. I can't believe it," said Trump as quoted by the tirto page, November 16, 2016.

Disaster for the world also emerged when Donald Trump officially became the new US President in January 2017. The US, which incidentally cares about world climate control, was actually brought out of line by Trump.

Instead of Trump choosing to take action to save from climate change, Trump wants the US to focus on increasing the lives of its people. Trump showed this condition by bringing the US back from the Paris Climate Agreement on June 1, 2017. Trump made the statement at the White House Mawar Park.

Trump doesn't want the US to be part of the Paris Climate Deal that tied 188 countries to keep the global temperature rise 'lower' 2'C (3.6'F) and 'try to limit' to 1.5'C. Trump thinks it will only harm and tighten the US.

"As President, I cannot consider anything other than the welfare of American citizens. The Paris Climate Agreement is just the latest example of an agreement that harms the United States and provides exclusive benefits for other countries, so American workers who I care about and taxpayers must bear losses in the form of job loss, lower wages, close factories, and reduce economic production significantly."

"Therefore, starting today, the United States will stop all non-binding implementations of the Paris Agreement as well as the very heavy financial and economic burdens imposed by the agreement on our country. This includes ending the implementation of nationally determined contributions and, most importantly, the Green Climate Fund which is detrimental to the United States in large quantities," Donald Trump said as quoted by the White House website, June 1, 2017.
