Giselle Aespa Writes Apology After Saying Racist

JAKARTA - Giselle aespa wrote an apology to fans through social media. Previously on Saturday, October 23, 2021, SM Entertainment uploaded a behind-the-scenes video of their first album shoot, Savage.

Fans found a scene where Giselle sang the song Love Galore from SZA. Giselle sings the lyrics of the song with the racist N word.

Fans also regretted Giselle's attitude. Moments later, this video was deleted by SM Entertainment.

Today, October 25th, Giselle wrote two new tweets on aespa's official Twitter. He explained that this song belongs to his favorite singer.

“Hello this is Giselle. I want to apologize for singing the words of the song lyrics that were played during filming. I had no intention of doing it on purpose and getting carried away when a song by my favorite artist played," he said.

“I sincerely apologize. I will continue to learn and be aware of my actions,” concluded Giselle in English.

Immediately after the tweet, said Giselle, it immediately became a trending topic on social media.
