Cinta Laura Kiehl Makes The Minister Of Religion Touched To The Point Of Holding Back Tears Because Of Embarrassed

JAKARTA - Cinta Laura Kiehl actively voices the beauty of tolerance in Indonesia. She revealed this during a speech at the Religious Moderation Action event. The speech was witnessed by the Minister of Religion, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.

Cinta Laura discusses the importance of respecting differences. She also touched on religious tolerance.

The speech turned out to be quite touching for Yaqut Cholil Qoumas. "(Cinta Laura) gave an extraordinary and inspiring speech, not many young people can give and are able to give speeches with such deep meaning," said Yaqut Cholis Qoumas on the Pendis YouTube Channel quoted Tuesday, September 28.

While joking, Gus Yaqut admitted to holding back tears because he was embarrassed if he was caught crying. "I wanted to cry hearing that, but I was embarrassed that my wife was there," said Gus Yaqut.

"This is extraordinary because I was frank before being assigned by the President here, what Cinta Laura said, I used to speak for hours in front of Ansor and Banser cadres. Tonight, Cinta Laura represented it," he said.

"So, thank you, Cinta. Cinta Laura, I mean," concluded Yaqut Cholil Qoumas jokingly.

Besides being religious, Cinta also cares about empowering women. In February 2021, Cinta Laura launched a YouTube channel called PUELLA ID, taken from the Latin word meaning strong, confident, and smart woman.

Through the PUELLA ID channel, Cinta Laura admitted that she wanted to create an entertainment platform specifically for Z and Alpha generations. "Because they are the ones who in the next ten years will lead various industries. So we have to make them good future leaders," said Cinta Laura some time ago.
