Tom Hanks Makes A Robot In 'Finch' Movie Trailer

JAKARTA - The actor Tom Hanks is back with his latest film titled Finch. This Universal Pictures production film presents a trailer on Monday, September 20.

Finch tells the story of a man named Finch (Tom Hanks), an engineer and one of the survivors of the disaster. Finch has lived in the underground bunker for a decade with his dog Goodyear.

Then, Finch builds a robot to look after Goodyear when he can't. The three travel across the American West to enjoy life.

This premiere trailer showcases a bit of Finch's story. The robot that Finch made seems to adapt by trying to communicate so that Goodyear understands.

In another scene, this robot also replaces Finch when driving a car. Their journey is also not far from the solar flare disaster that threatens Finch, Goodyear, and the robot.

Finch is directed by Miguel Sapochnik and stars Caleb Landry Jones, Lora Martinez-Cunningham, Marie Wagenman, Christopher Farrar, Oscar Avila, and Kennedi Butler.

Initially, the film was projected to hit theaters in October 2020 but the COVID-19 pandemic caused them to repeatedly postpone screenings.

Last May, Universal announced that the rights to the Finch film were purchased by Apple TV+. Finch will premiere on November 5 globally on Apple TV+. Watch the trailer below:
