Mysterious, Nicholas Saputra Presents In 'Paranoia' Trailer

JAKARTA - The production house Miles Films released the first trailer for the film Paranoia on Tuesday, September 14. The presence of this trailer can explain a bit of storytelling and conflicts faced by the main character.

Paranoia tells the story of Dina (Nirina Zubir) who goes with her daughter, Laura (Caitlin North-Lewis) from her husband, Gion (Lukman Sardi). The two of them brought a valuable item and made Gion keep looking for them.

In the middle of hiding, Dina and Laura meet Raka (Nicholas Saputra). This familiar yet mysterious figure actually threatens Dina and Laura's situation.

This trailer shows a small series of stories where Dina and Laura are seen running away to Bali. They try not to let anyone know about the two but while staying at one of the villas, the manager becomes good friends with Gion.

At one time, Laura and Raka's interactions also seemed quiet. It is Dina who reminds Laura to be careful but Laura thinks Raka is a kind person.

Paranoia is Miles Films' latest film after Humba Dreams in 2019. Besides that, they are also preparing Petualangan Sherina 2 (Sherina's Adventure 2).

Paranoia premiered at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) in South Korea from July 8-18, 2021. This film is Miles Films' new work in the thriller realm and was produced by Mira Lesmana and directed by Riri Riza.
