Tiwi T2 Debuts Acting Through Phone Films That Never Ring

JAKARTA - Prastiwi Dwiarti alias Tiwi T2 made his acting debut in director Dyan Sunu Prastowo's film entitled Phones That Never Ringed which will air on the KlikFilm streaming platform on February 14.

Tika plays Surti as a mother who chooses to become a migrant worker in Saudi Arabia and dies by her daughter Tini.

"I played a mother who became a migrant worker, named Surti. I became Aqeela's mother here. I kept separated for almost 6 years and it turned out that it was like that, but I'll definitely cry later. I'm excited," said Tiwi in the Cipete area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, February 11th.

Tika said that when she was first offered this film she immediately accepted it, especially for her, the story that was raised was very good.

"I got the opportunity to be able to act immediately, especially when I saw the story was good," said Tiwi.

This is the first time he has entered the world of acting, Tiwi said he was challenged to play a character that was much different from his original nature.

"Well, if the acting is difficult in this character, maybe I will be a very motherly mother, which is very different from my original character," he said.

Not to mention that he also has to learn to use Arabic to strengthen the side of the story in this film.

"Then here I also learn Arabic because there is a very tough scene, which in the end requires me to use Arabic," he said.

Phone Films That Never Ring will also feature Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Aqeela Calista and Bima Azriel.
