JAKARTA - Modern lifestyles are increasingly influenced by product choices that prioritize quality, innovation, and cultural values.

Not only about following trends, people are also increasingly selective in choosing food, drinks, and beauty products that can support health and daily life.

One of the countries that consistently presents such innovations is Thailand. This country is known to have a variety of quality products with distinctive tastes and wellness approaches that are increasingly relevant to the needs of today's consumers.

Indonesian people's interest in Thai products continues to increase. This can be seen from the increasing number of Thai food, beverage, and beauty and health products that are easy to find in various retail channels and digital platforms.

This trend is supported by data from the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand which shows that Thai imports of food and beverages from Indonesia reached 500.99 million US dollars in 2024, an increase of 18.02% compared to 2023 which was 424.49 million US dollars.

On the other hand, Indonesia's food and beverage market share in Thailand has also increased to 8.46% in 2024 from the previous 7.96% in 2023.

This data shows the increasingly close trade relationship between the two countries, while also opening up opportunities for people to get to know more quality products from each country.

As part of efforts to strengthen this collaboration, the Thai Trade Center Jakarta will again hold Thailand Week 2026, an international exhibition that brings together Indonesian and Thai business actors on July 24-26 at the Grand Atrium, Pakuwon Mall, Surabaya.

Held under the auspices of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce Thailand, this event presents various leading Thai brands that are developing in Indonesia, especially in the food and beverage and beauty and health categories.
