Exclusive Watch Supports Efforts To Preserve Sumatran Tigers

JAKARTA - A watch manufacturer from Japan, Seiko Indonesia recently released its latest item in a limited edition. This watch is also called the Indonesia Exclusive 3rd Limited Edition.

The watch with stainless steel stripe comes as a result of collaboration with Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation (TWNC), which combines the art of making watches with natural conservation efforts and Sumatran tigers.

TWNC is a conservation area jointly managed by Artha Graha Peduli, Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, and Bengkulu Natural Resources Conservation Center.

"In addition to obtaining quality watches, this collaboration also participates in efforts to conserve or preserve the now endangered Sumatran tiger and its habitat that requires serious attention," explained Seiko Indonesia Manager Kevin Lie, at its launch in Jakarta, recently.

This 3rd edition of the watch has a unique design inspired by the natural beauty of Indonesia and the Sumatran tiger, a symbol of the richness of Indonesian fauna.

This watch was specially designed for sports and adventure enthusiasts, aiming to celebrate Indonesia's adventures and natural wonders. Through this collaboration, some of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to support the preservation of the Sumatran Tiger and its natural habitat, through efforts that have been carried out by Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation since 1996.

"We really appreciate the support given in efforts to preserve Sumatran tigers and their habitat. Thanks to this participation, we can continue to monitor the Sumatran Tiger rehabilitation and release program and carry out various other conservation activities to ensure the preservation of their natural population and habitat environment," explained Erick Hartanto, Director of Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation on the same occasion.

Previously, other limited editions were also designed to highlight Indonesia's natural wealth, such as the Red and White (2022) and Komodo (2023) editions.

This latest edition was launched as a form of appreciation for the extraordinary support from the community in Indonesia and only 1,000 units are available throughout Indonesia.
