Love Travel Flashes Baim Wong And Paula Verhoeven: Starting From DM, Ends In Divorce

JAKARTA - Baim Wong officially filed for divorce from his wife, Paula Verhoeven on Tuesday, October 8 to the South Jakarta Religious Court. The news came to light when Baim Wong's attorney confirmed that the lawsuit took place.

This can be seen from the Case Tracing Information System (SIPP) which wrote that the applicant was Muhammad Ibrahim bin Johnny Djaelani and the respondent Paula Verhoeven bint Eddy Verhoeven.

Initially, these rumors circulated because they rarely performed together, even recently, Paula Verhoeven left for Umrah without Baim Wong knowing the plan.

Six years in the household, their relationship ended this year. How Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven's love journey has been for the past half a decade.

Baim Wong sent a private message (DM) to Paula Verhoeven. When getting acquainted, Baim had time to tell about his financial condition. Paula, who never met him in person, felt interested in Baim until she decided to meet him.

"It's nothing but for 10 days he's been asking (dating) what does it mean to be confused. Live it but it seems like it's really a spender impression but he (Baim Wong) is smart to save. At that time there was no doubt because he didn't look for his finances," Paula Verhoeven told Daniel Mananta.

As a high-end model, Paula was complacent when she accepted Baim Wong as her boyfriend. When they were in a relationship, Paula admitted that she never thought about finances because they both worked hard.

"He worked hard, I was also just with Baim, I didn't think about money and so on because we both worked hard," Paula said again.

It didn't take long, Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven decided to date after 8 months. They got married on November 22, 2018 in South Jakarta. Baim proposed to Paula by visiting Paula when she and her siblings were on vacation in Bali.

Then, Baim Wong came wearing a Mampang doll and approached Paula on a beach in Bali. Paula received Baim's proposal and Paula revealed that she was not the type of person who wanted to get married quickly so far she admitted that she had always been in a relationship for a long time.

"With him, he's not worried about his career and finances. I'm also confused, I've been shooting for 10 days. The negative thing with him is gone," Paula said again.

From that marriage, they welcomed the birth of their first child named Kiano Tiger Wong on December 27, 2019. Two years later they were blessed with a second child named Kenzo totalo Wong, precisely on October 9, 2021.

In 2022, Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven became a controversy after they made a video of the KDRT prank. They uploaded a video entitled "Baim Domestic Violence, Paula Jalani Visum. Watching Before Takedown" until it was confirmed because it dragged the police.

Baim and Paula had complied with the summons for examination and made an apology for involving the authorities in the fake case.

Tuesday, October 8, Baim Wong officially filed for divorce from Paula Verhoeven to the South Jakarta Court. He filed for divorce and at the same time demanded custody of his two children. The settlement officially ended their relationship for 6 years.
