Martha Plimpton Denies Steven Spielberg Prepares The Goonies 2!

JAKARTA - Fans of The Goonies film were delighted after the viral news of the 1985 film will continue with a sequel.

First reported by The Sun, The Goonies 2 will reportedly be shooting starting the summer of the year with original players returning. Shortly after the news, Corey Feldman and Martha Plimpton denied the report.

The two actors who were cast in the first film denied the plan. They make clarifications through their respective social media.

"Everything, there is no script for Goonies 2, no one "joins" wrote Martha Plimpton via her Instagram post.

Corey Feldman also wrote "No information" saying he didn't know that there was a sequel being made. His statement became a form of rebuttal considering he was one of the cast in his first film.

The Goonies is a film directed by Richard Donner that tells of a group of children who find old treasure maps and look for legendary pirates named One-Eyed Willy.

Meanwhile, there are criminal families who are trying to steal treasure for them. The story is made by Spielberg which is developed in the form of a film.
