Indonesian Crypto And Designer Collaboration Presents Anthurium Products Full Of Creativity

JAKARTA - Sinergi Serip, a luxury brand of lighting products from Portugal that often takes inspiration from nature and Indonesian designer Sammy Hendramianto Syamsulhadi gave birth to Anthurium. By combining high creativity and craftsmanship, Anthurium was introduced at the The Colors of Indonesia (TCOI) exhibition, at Senayan City Jakarta, Thursday, September 12.

Serip's latest collection took inspiration from the Anthurium ornamental plant, better known as Elephant Ears in Indonesia. Made from bronze cor combined with crystal-screened glass, hanging lights from the Anthurium ornamental hanger radiated plenaryly at Sunset at Batujimbar Bathroom, at TCOI with a length of 3 meters and weighing about 100 kilograms. Bronze is a nominal material that will not spoil so it is very suitable for tropical and humid climates like in Indonesia.

The process of making the Anthurium Chamber of Commerce and Industry begins with making modulations with sand-casting technology from the leaves of the original anthurium plant, as well as making detailed prints for premium elements of glass and bronze. interior designer Sammy Hendramiatno Syamsulhadi explained that when the collaboration offer from Serip arrived in early 2024, he knew that this product would be displayed in the bathroom area at TCOI 2024 with the theme Summer Home. Therefore, Sammy decided to present an elegant and tropical outdoor element to strengthen the concept of vacation home.

According to Sammy, one of the memorable things about this collaboration with Krip is a relatively short time, only about eight months to work on it. However, Sammy, who has known Serip since attending the Maison Object Asia exhibition in Singapore in 2015, has successfully made the process of drafting concepts, ideas and design inspirations in one month.

Sammy is one of the admirers of the Krip product which often displays the shape of branches and leaves as well as other natural organic forms. At the 2016 TCOI Sammy even included a charmelier Aqua collection in his showcase with the theme The Songket Boutique.

"I would like to thank Serip for trusting me with this Anthurium collection, it's an honor for me," Sammy said.

After completing the charmelier as the first series in the Anthurium collection, Sammy is currently developing his next series of products, including wall lamp, standing lamp and table lamp, which is expected to be completed early next year.

Sammy has worked with well-known design consulting firm Grahacipta Hadiprana as Senior Associate, before establishing SHS Associates' private design company in 2013. Having a classic and contemporary design character, Sammy often includes elements of Indonesian culture into his work.

CEO of Serip Indonesia Martin Lim explained that Serip chose Sammy as a collaborator partner because the founder of SHS Associates has a design concept that is in line with Serip products.

"We have known Mr. Sammy and his design concept since 2015. He also often includes Sarim products in his work. We feel there is a match of vision with Mr. Sammy, so we offer this collaboration," said Martin.

Martin stated that in addition to adding beauty elements to a room, every Decorrative Lighting Serip product becomes an exclusive work of art because the production process is carried out hand by hand by artists.
