Disappointed To Choose Jokowi, Acha Septriasa: Now No Longer Believe

JAKARTA - Artist Acha Septriasa loudly voiced the political rejection of the Jokowi dynasty which was built through the revision of the Pilkada Law. Through his personal Instagram, Vicky Kharisma's wife shared a screenshot of foreign media coverage highlighting the decision (MK) which rejected the petition to change the minimum age limit for the 2024 regional head election candidate (pilkada).

Revision of the 2024 Pilkada Law is considered to have the potential to erode democratic principles. One of the controversial articles is the age limit for regional head candidates. According to the news, this revision opens up opportunities for President Jokowi's son, Kaesang Pangarep, to run for governor. Foreign media The Strait Times revealed that it would be a blow to President Joko Widodo's dynastic legacy.

In part of his caption, this Mumun film star said Jan Ethes' grandfather ended his term as president by tarnishing his good name that had been built so far. Not only against Jokowi who was disappointed, but also his supporters.

"After fragrant 'he said' the name of our leader, it ended tragically like this. Who would have thought, this disappointment does not only belong to the opposite choice, but the one who chose him was disappointed," he wrote, quoted from the upload of the Instagram account @septriasaacha.

"From the Job Creation Law, TAPERA, as well as the amendment to the general election law through the Constitutional Court, now the election for Regional Leaders is still unclear what kind of decision will be knocked out later," he continued.

Acha Septriasa was surprised by Jokowi, who was judged to be controlled by power during his tenure as president. He also mentioned that Jokowi's passion for power and property would not be brought to death. Not to forget, Acha also marked Jokowi's Instagram account.

"Is he forgetful? Is power really controlling human desires that badly. So, what all this wants if you die is just a name.. Is this the name that you will leave Pak @jokowi," he said.

Acha admitted that he chose Jokowi for two terms. So far, Acha feels that he really chose Jokowi to become president. Because, he saw that Jokowi's news had always been positive and showed his performance for the Indonesian people.

"Even though I am a voter for you twice, I do not follow you in the IG, because indeed, I am satisfied to read the news about the achievement of the State only through the Internet," he said.

"I'm starting to feel that what Mr Posting is on your Social media platform, is always different from the situation on the ground. What do you want for the People in meetings and during interviews with journalists, it seems different from what you are planning at the Palace," he added.

Now, this 34-year-old woman is outspoken about no longer believing in Jokowi.

"Is it true that a lot of these rumors are just to get rid of 'Good People'? In the past, I believed. Unfortunately now it's no longer," he added.

Previously, Acha Septriasa had shared the contents of Article 40 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 10 of 2016 which contained the requirements to propose a candidate for governor and deputy governor on his personal Instagram. Acha Septriasha then uploaded his notes regarding the Constitutional Court's decisions regarding the threshold in the 2024 Pilkada.
