Arie Kriting Creates Kaka Boss To Present New Talents

JAKARTA - Actor and comedian Arie Kriting returned to the directorial bench through a film called Kaka Boss. This film produced by Imaginari presents a warm family story as well as a search for a positive identity.

Through this film, Arie not only expressed anxiety but also brought new talents who first acted through this film. They are Glory Hillary Hallatu, Putri Nere, singer Nowela Mikhelia, Elsa Japasal, Aurel Mayori, Chun dancer, musician Teddy Adhitya and others.

"Indeed, at first I was confused, when the concept was that Arie Kriting was mostly an Eastern player, many were not famous, including the main character, but we tried to trust him," said Ernest Prakasa as a producer at a press conference on Thursday, August 22.

"It was an opportunity for Papuan and East women on the big screen with talents in their respective fields. When Arie contacted him, he had doubts because I played a film once but in the end he was more dumbia mc and didn't think about acting," said Putri Nere, who plays Ferdinand's wife.

Elsa Japasal and Aurel Mayori, known as internet celebrities, also felt helped by Arie Kriting during the shooting process.

"The approach is easy because they are friendly and continue to be assisted by Arie and Sis Kristo (Immanuel)," said Elsa.
