JAKARTA - Great Wall Motor (GWM) is preparing to expand Malaysia's assembled line by immediately presenting MPV Wey 80. The car was previously exhibited with the left steering configuration at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2024.

Launching from Paultan, Wednesday, December 18, the car will be assembled at a factory owned by EP Manufacturing (EPMB) at the Hicom Pegoh Industrial Park facility in Melaka, Malaysia.

Thus, Wey 80 will be assembled side by side with other GWM models next year, including Haval Jolion HEV and Haval H6 which have reached a milestone with the production of 1,000 units in neighboring countries.

Because this car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system, Wey 80 battery supports with a magnitude of 37.96 kWh which can make it run with pure power up to 140 km according to CLTC.
