Karina Absent At The Japanese Concert, Aespa Will Appear Three

JAKARTA - Karina did not appear at their concert in Fukuoka, Japan. Initially, Karina was said to be still performing but would be sitting at their concert in Osaka, but the agency released a new statement.

"We want to inform you that Karina aespa did not participate in 2024 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK: PARALLEL LINE - in JAPAN which was held at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall B on July 30 and July 31," SM Entertainment said on Tuesday, July 30.

Karina did not participate in Osaka's appearance on July 28 due to poor health conditions, and because she had not fully recovered, the medical team advised her to rest," the agency said.

After discussing, the agency decided that Karina would not perform fully at the Fukuoka concert. Three other members: Ningning, Giselle, and Winter continue to appear.

Apart from concerts, Karina also did not join the meeting & greet session for the release of their Japanese album which was held in the near future.

We apologize once again to fans who support Aespa and Karina and look forward to the concert. We will do our best so that the artist can recover soon. Thank you," he said.

Aespa is currently on their tour in several cities in Japan, namely Fukuoka, Nagoya, Saitama, Osaka, Tokyo, and others.

The concert was held after aespa released their latest album, Armageddon. They also just debuted in Japan with Hot Mess.
