Announced Agency Yunhyeong IKON Starting Military Service August 13

JAKARTA - The agency announced that one of the iKON members, Yunhyeong will leave for military service this August. The agency has not yet mentioned where Yunhyeong will join in what division.

"Thank you to IKONIC who always loves iKON. On Tuesday, August 13, Song Yunhyeong's members will enter the training center," said 143 Entertainment today, Wednesday, July 24.

"Please give support and encouragement to Song Yunhyeong who will return after fulfilling his military duties," continued the agency.

Furthermore, the agency confirmed that no official event will be held before Yunhyeong leaves. They said Yunhyeong would have activities to do with fans.

For security reasons, no official events will be held on the day of departure. Departure will be carried out behind closed doors to avoid security incidents," the agency continued.

"We will do our best to allow Song Yunhyeong to spend time with iKONIC (the name of iKON fans) before he leaves. Thank you," concluded the agency.

Song Yunhyeong or Song is one of the youngest iKON members to leave for military service. He became the newest member of this year after Chanwoo left in May and Bobby in June.

This year, Song Yunhyeong marked his solo debut by releasing a mini album titled It's Call in March.
