Stories Of Characters Around Laura Basuki In Heartbreak Film

JAKARTA - The film Heartbreak was starred by a number of top Indonesian actors and actresses. Adapted from the novel Ika Natassa, the film has a lot to do with the entertainment industry that they are involved in.

Heartbreaking tells the story of Ava Alessandra (Laura Basuki), a top actress who feels that her relationship with Reza Malik (Reza Rahadian) is starting to decline, while a Raga (Chicco Jerikho) enters her life with simplicity.

Chicco as one of the main characters revealed a little similarity between himself and Raga's character. He admitted that both of them took care of the business together.

Raga is not an ordinary person. Entrepreneur who is friendly and thinks about him is now doing business. The difference is that I coincided with the actor. The business I went through departed from the actor," said Chicco Jerikho in a film press conference on Friday, June 28.

"This is the seventh film and it is always different, there is an increase. Something that has never been from Angga," said Chicco speaking of the director, Angga Sasongko.

Then there is Sheila Dara who plays Ava's best friend. He revealed that the joining process was fairly short because he only joined when production began.

"Mas Angga contacted me tight in filming, fortunately I was able to and act as a friend of Laura's sister. Sis Laura really gave a positive vibe and opened up with discussions," said Sheila Dara.

Ava Alessandra's life is surrounded by people who make up her career. These characters are played by Pierre Gruno, Jeremy Thomas, Maya Hasan, Dwi Yan, and Cornelio Sunny.

"When viewed about Ava, she has more problems. She is covering up something in the middle of her career she is moving forward," Pierre Gruno's story plays the person who formed Ava's character.

I play a producer. The producer is in a dilemma because he has an obsession with the players and the film but objectively wants the film to run. Talking about the industry, yes, it must be volatily going up and down, "said Jeremy Thomas.

This one-minute teaser features a reflection of Ava who reviewed her life as an actress but she questioned her existence when she was with Raga.

The film "Heartbreaking" will hit theaters starting August 1, 2024.
