JAKARTA - Director Kimo Stamboel will work on his latest film entitled Abadi Nan Jaya. Collaborating with Netflix, this film will be the first zombie original film in Indonesia.
Abadi Nan Jaya tells the story of a village near Yogyakarta which is the residence of a family of the herbal medicine business owner. An innovation made by the owner of the company actually triggered a zombie outbreak that hit the entire village.
The film stars Eva Celia, Mikha Tambayong, Donny Damara, Dimas Anggara, Marthino Lio, Kiki Narendra, and Varen Arianda Calief.
Netflix released a behind-the-scenes photo showing Kimo Stamboel directing Donny Damara with a different look.
"It was an extraordinary experience for me to start production of the Eternal Nan Jaya film," said Kimo Stamboel.
