JAKARTA - Padi Reborn is making a new breakthrough by presenting a cinematic experience through the "Exclusive Limited Screening Concert Two Eight Padi Reborn".

Held at XXI Plaza Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, July 7, this event presents the complete recording of their magnificent concert which was successfully held on January 31 into a premium audio-visual wrap of a large screen.

This innovative step is the result of a collaboration between Padi Reborn and two well-known promoters, Megapro Communications and NorthStar Entertainment.

The concert cinema format was deliberately designed to reach a wider audience of music lovers, as well as a bridge to the celebration of the mega project of the 30th Anniversary of Padi Reborn Concert which is scheduled to be held in 2027.

Padi Reborn vocalist, Fadly, revealed that the strong emotional and spiritual impetus behind the scenes was the main reason for the birth of this cinematic work.

The close relationship with Sobat Padi—the term for loyal fans—which has been established for almost three decades has become the basic foundation for the group from Surabaya to continue to innovate.

"The Two Eight concert in January was one of the most sacred and emotional musical moments we have experienced throughout our careers. We felt the incredible energy of the rice friends who were present," said Fadly at a press conference before the cinema screening.

"Through this Exclusive Limited Screening of the Two Eight Concert, we want to take care of and share the warmth and intimacy of that night with our media colleagues and closest friends, before this collaborative masterpiece can be seen by the wider community," continued the vocalist.

Not just documenting the stage, this concert cinema integrates the latest cinema visual technology and Dolby audio systems. The audience is invited to return to the original performance dimension to enjoy the aesthetic details of the Two Eight Concert with a futuristic 360-degree stage concept.

Padi Reborn guitarist, Satriyo Yudi Wahono alias Piyu, emphasized the importance of maintaining the quality of musical work presentation in the digital era so that the visual experience is able to keep up with the complexity of audio arrangements.

Through this screening, Padi Reborn also simultaneously launched the latest lyric video for the song "Punah" as the third track from the album "28" after "Ego" and "Haru Biru".

"This is not just a stage documentation that is usually recorded with a standard camera. We produce it seriously as a complete concert cinema product, optimizing the wide screen of the cinema as well as the Dolby System sound system so that the grandeur of the audience remains precise and rumbling. At the same time, we also launch the 'Punah' lyric video which is the third single from the album Dua Delapan," said Piyu.

Furthermore, Megapro Communications representative, Ahmad Qomaru Zaman, explained that moving the essence of a 360-degree stage into the flat screen medium of the cinema requires very high accuracy in the editing room. His party must ensure that every camera movement and audio transition is able to transfer the magical atmosphere of the stadium directly to the front of the cinema audience.

Meanwhile, Ali Lipto from NorthStar Entertainment assessed that the stage performance of Padi Reborn's 28th birthday had too valuable a historical value if it was just evaporated. According to him, this vision must be locked in premium audio-visual works as a blueprint for the band's consistency in the Indonesian entertainment industry.

After this exclusive launch, Padi Reborn management plans to bring the concert film video Konser Dua Delapan to various regions through the concept of a watch together event (nobar).
