Ruben Onsu Sues For Divorce Sarwendah, Doesn't Demand Custody Of Children And Assets

Ruben Onsu filed for divorce from Sarwendah at the South Jakarta District Court (PN). This was confirmed by Tumpanuli Marbun as Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court.

Tumpanuli said that Ruben Onsu's lawsuit had been registered with the South Jakarta District Court's case tracing system (SIPP) and was submitted on June 9.

"That's right, based on our SIPP. There is a lawsuit from the plaintiff on behalf of RSO (Ruben Onsu) against S (Sarwendah) regarding the divorce suit. Which was registered on June 9, 2024," said Tumpanuli Marbun at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, June 12.

For the Tumpanuli trial, Ruben and Sarwendah's divorce trial was closed, while for reasons of divorce, it could only be said after the divorce decision.

"It is certain that the reason for the divorce has definitely been stated in the lawsuit, but because of this case, the divorce case in our private sphere certainly cannot be confirmed to the general public because this trial is also closed," he explained.

"If later it will be known what the motive for the divorce itself will only be known at that time the reading of the final decision. Therefore, it has begun to be open to the public," he added.

For this divorce, Ruben Onsu himself only demanded divorce without any demands for child custody or property from Sarwendah.

"(The only thing that is requested is) divorce. There is no child custody. (The price) does not exist," he said.
