The 3rd Painting Explore Exhibition Titled Negeri In Cloud Held In Yogyakarta

JAKARTA The Painting Explorer will be held for the third time at the Loman Park Hotel, Yogyakarta from June 1 to September 1, 2024. This exhibition carries the theme Negeri in Cloud'. The exhibition was attended by the academic community of the Painting Explorer Art Campus, which is the result of kuila on the YouTube channel.

The choice of the 'Negeri' theme in Cloud is taken from the development of childhood beautiful imaginations into the cloud. The paintings displayed are screened from the results of discussions on the Painting Explorer YouTube channel.

This exhibition was attended by 23 painters, with a total of 43 paintings displayed. The painters who displayed their works came from three countries, namely Malaysia, Japan and Indonesia. Apart from painters from the Painting Painting Explorer Campus, this exhibition was also attended by several guest artists.

Cong Phood sends works from Malaysia, and Badruzzaman participates from Japan. Other artists come from various cities in Indonesia. They consist of: Adi Riadi, Agillient, Ahmad Fauzi, Amanda Andrenita Wijaya, Anandhita Alvina Damayanti, Deni Je, d.koestrita, Edi Soe, Ibrahim Kariba, Ikhfana Syafina, Khuria, Mbah Wo a.k. Maelan, M Rizqon F, Moell, Paulus Irawan Winata, Reno Iskajaya, Sugeng Pribadi, and Triyono.

Meanwhile, the Guest Star Artist consists of Amir Hamzah as Lecturer of INI Yogyakarta Painting, Fachriza Jayadimansyah as Lecturer of IKJ Jakarta Painting, and Taqiyya Kinayu Aruming of the ISI Yogyakarta Student Movement.

M. Rizqon F. through the painting 'ScREENing Between Data, Realita, And Garbage' describes life in this social media era as sailing between data, both useful according to reality and information that is useless waste.

"If we are not wise to sort out information that goes into the brain, it will affect individual and collective behavior. And don't forget that everything we upload on social media, cloud, will return to us the benefits or harm," said Rizqon.

The excitement of the hacker world is lifted by Cong Phood via expressive scratch. Perupa, which has the spontaneity of this strong scratch, made it happen in an acrylic paint painting on the canvas of 120\times 96 cm, a 'hacker' made in 2024.

Also watch the painting by Ikhfana Syafina, a pulmonary specialist from Medan. Ikfana revealed her professional experience in painting Ready Salah. The oil paint work on the canvas tells the story of a patient who pretends to tease doctors even though it only contains information obtained on TikTok, YouTube, or other social media.

The painting exhibition of the 3rd Painting Explorer "Negeri in Cloud" is expected to inspire the artistic passion of artists who have been difficult to reach the epicenter of art, such as Yogyakarta, Bandung, Jakarta, and Denpasar. Painting Explorer seeks to take advantage of information technology, such as YouTube supported by Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, to impact painting passion.
