Ampera Palembang Bridge Closed For 3 Hours On New Year's Eve

Palembang Polrestabes traffic personnel, South Sumatra closed the Ampera Bridge for three hours starting at 22.30 WIB - 01.00 WIB on New Year's Eve 2025 to engineer traffic and relieve congestion.

Head of Traffic for Palembang Polrestabes AKBP Yenni Diarty said his party had engineered traffic to unravel congestion from 22.30 WIB to 01.00 WIB.

"Yes, on New Year's Eve, we carried out traffic engineering to unravel congestion from 22.30 WIB to 01.00 WIB," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, December 31.

The following is traffic engineering which will be implemented on New Year's Eve at Ampera Bridge, Palembang City, South Sumatra.

The Charitas Hospital area to Jakabaring then the Musi 6 - Kertapati - Jakabaring bridge then the path to finding the Merdeka Charitas Street bag - Kol Atmo Street - Bird Market - Rio Hotel - Merdeka Street under Ampera - Merdeka Bayian Street - Bird Market under Ampera - Merdeka Street.

Then, the Ulu Ke Ilir route can cross to Ilir by passing through the Musi 4 Bridge, while vehicles from the Caritas intersection towards Ampera are diverted through Kol Atmo Street, Lt. Col. Iskandar Street, Brigadier General A Kadir Street, Slamet Riyadi Street, Musi 4 Bridge to Jalan Kyai Haji Azhari 13 Ulu.

Then, the opposite is from the direction of Plaju to Jalan A Yani Jalan Nagaswidak Jalan Azhari via the Musi 4 bridge.

Vehicles from Merdeka Street to Ampera are diverted to Musi 4 Bridge via Merdeka Street, Gajah Mada Street, Kambang Iwak, Talang Karangga Street, Sultan Mansyur Street, Musi Bridge 4.

On the other hand, from the direction of Kertapati Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim, Jalan Mayor Haji Husni or KH Azhari to the Musi 6 bridge on Jalan Sultan Mansyur.

Then, Simpang looked for a bag towards Jalan Merdeka to be diverted through Jalan Kol Atmo Pasar Burung Jalan Masjid lama or Jalan Kebumen, then through the Ampera bridge to Jalan Nusa Indah leading Jalan Merdeka.
