JAKARTA - Happy news came from the couple Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag who had just announced about their third child's pregnancy. However, Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag chose to do a IVF program for their third child this time.

In an online press conference, Jedar, Jessica Iskandar's nickname revealed the reason she took part in this IVF program. First because he wanted to pursue the birth of a child in the dragon year or this year.

"We get the best embryo through a technology that is very sophisticated now, especially what Surabaya has. We are also chasing it so that we can have a child born in the dragon year," explained Jessica Iskandar to the media crew via video connection, Monday, May 20.

Furthermore, Jedar said he wanted to minimize the birth of a baby that was not perfect because of his pregnancy at the age of 35 which was considered vulnerable.

"Many also ask, So Sis Jessica is already pregnant twice, why is it suddenly IVF, why is that? So maybe the first thing is because we want to have a healthy embryo, which is good because the risk of pregnancy over the age of 35 is higher," said Jessica Iskandar.

"So to minimize the risk of a baby born with disabilities, which of course we don't all want," he continued.
