CBS Paid USD 9 Million To Broadcast The Interview Of Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

JAKARTA - Oprah Winfrey's special interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is highly anticipated by the public.

Cited from People today, March 7, the television channel CBS reportedly paid a license fee of between seven and nine million US dollars to broadcast the interview. Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan were not paid to take part in this event.

It is known that this event is very special because, for the first time, Meghan and Harry received an interview after leaving the Kingdom last year.

Several promotional videos show Meghan and Harry telling stories about their journey as parents and telling the story of the pressure from the public after they were married.

Previously, Meghan had refused an interview offer from Oprah Winfrey in 2018.
