JAKARTA - Four years since the first film, Starvision Plus and Wahana Creator collaborated to present the film Dua Hati Biru. Still driven by Gina S. Noer, this time he collaborated with Dinna Jasanti in working on stories and directing them.

A number of new characters are also present in this sequel, one of which is Aisha Nurra Dukata who plays Dara, continuing Adhisty Zara. Then there is Farrell Rafisqy who becomes Adam who is four years old.

Dua Hati Biru tells the story of Dara (Nurra Dukata) who completes her studies in South Korea for four years. Now, Dara plans to return to Indonesia and organize her life with Bima (Angga Yunanda) and their son, Adam (Farrel Rafisqy).

Bima, who chose not to go to college, now works as an employee in a child's toy spot. He takes care of Adam and his daily life also helps Iqi (Keanu Angelo) in selling. The day he was waiting for arrived, Dara came home to be a mother and take care of Adam with Bima.

However, the ideal idea of a household began to disappear after Adam was reluctant to interact or be close to Dara. Various efforts made by Dara seemed to collapse plus Bima's mother (Cut Mini) continued to blame Dara for choosing to go to South Korea - leaving Adam growing up with them.

It doesn't stop there, the difference in guidance from their parents makes Dara and Bima have different ways of taking care of Adam. So, how will they take care of Adam now?

The film Dua Hati Biru undermines expectations that the change of character will become blunt in the story. In fact, Nurra Dukata's acting as Dara is proof that Dara's character can develop in their respective best versions.

Emotional flow that has been going up and down since the beginning of the film. Initially the audience will be faced with a sweet moment when Dara and Bima undergo a long distance relationship, but when they meet, their relationship seems to start from scratch.

Angga and Nurra present sweet chemistry about young couples who experience conflict at the beginning of their marriage. The young soul they feel is full of explosions that often come out at the right time.

Sub-plots that occur around also support the growth of Dara and Bima, starting from Dara's parents, Bima's parents, and others.

Things that distinguish from the first film are also not always smooth, especially when the middle of the story is still talking about Dara and Bima's conflict. However, differences don't always mean negative, because of the two characters: Adam played by Farrell Rafisqy and Keanu Angelo.

Keanu, who plays Iqi, becomes a comic relief that satisfies films in the midst of the crush on Dara and Bima conflicts. Iqi's real talent is also a form of reprimand to Bima as well as his wife.

Then there is Adam, the son of Dara and Bima, played nicely by Farrell Rafisqy. His interaction with Angga and Nurra was very shining and made this film feel adorable. Farrell is also seen as the mediator of Dara and Bima's relationship.

The film Dua Hati Biru comes as a simple family genre film but feels full of various conflicts that are close to the life of the Indonesian family. Equipped with an extraordinary acting department, this film is sweet, warm but also tense because of its closeness to every parent or parent candidate.

The film Dua Hati Biru will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting April 17, 2024.
