NCT's Doyoung Will Debut Solo, Release Album This Month

JAKARTA - NCT's Doyoung will debut as a solo singer this month. Previously, Doyoung's agency, SM Entertainment revealed a solo debut plan for Doyoung which will be made this year.

Today, Thursday, April 4, an artwork was first uploaded through NCT's social media. The artwork features Doyoung's hands and the album title.

The first album Doyoung - Youth, is the writing in the photo.

This album contains 10 new songs that tell various emotions that grow in youth. A series of fun moments when someone can share about their youth.

Apart from the album title, it is not yet known what songs will be included in this new album. However, this album is a full studio album, not a mini album.

Doyoung debuted as a member of NCT in 2016. He showed his vocal quality on various occasions both as a member of NCT 127 and a DoJaeJung unit that debuted in 2023.

His voice also graced various Korean dramas such as School 2017, Rich Man, Dr. Romantic 3, and See You in My 19th Life.

Not only singing, Doyoung also became a presenter, a star of variety, musical, and acting through Korean dramas. In addition, the younger brother of actor Gong Myung has become a global ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana.

Since this news was confirmed, fans have welcomed Doyoung's solo debut by enlivening the hashtag #DOLOisComing which means Doyoung Solo is coming.

Doyoung became the third member to make a solo debut after Taeyong and Ten.

Meanwhile, Doyoung's first album - Youth will be available physically and digitally starting April 22.
