Jefri Nichol And Lutesha Want To Romance Ali Typhoon Not Cheesy

JAKARTA - Jefri Nichol plays Ali Topan in a film of the same name directed by Sidharta Tata. He collided with Lutesha who played the role of Anna Karenina.

"Honestly, I was invited to join because the IP was big and invited by Adrai because I didn't know the story yet but knew his name," said Jefri Nichol in a press conference for the Ali Topan film in Jakarta today, Tuesday, February 13.

"In 2022, I read books and watched movies (previously versions) and just found out," the story short.

In this film, Jefri Nichol and Lutesha also try to present romance in the film Ali Topan which remains relevant but does not look excessive.

"Honestly, at the beginning, I was happy but afraid because (Lutesha) intimidated her face," Jefri Nichol.

"From the beginning of the reading, we made an appointment to form Ali and Anna as a different romance, we agreed we don't want to be too fussy," continued Lutesha.

From reading, Ute and I are already concerned that the scene doesn't want to cheat and that's the last scene. It's a bit dizzy," Nichol said again.

Ali Topan tells the story of Ali Topan (Jefri Nichol), a child who manages the Art Stall with his friends. One day, he meets Anna Karenina (Lutesha), the daughter of a conglomerate who is looking for freedom in her life.

The film Ali Topan will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting February 14, 2024.
