Irene Red Velvet Officially Update Contracts With Agency

JAKARTA - Irene from K-pop group Red Velvet renewed her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment. Ini is the second time, she has continued her contract after signing her before debuting with the group.

Today, Wednesday, February 7, SM Entertainment announced that the singer whose real name is Bae Joohyun will continue his contract on the basis of trust.

"We renewed our contract with Irene after Seulgi based on partnership and trust," said SM Entertainment.

"We will support him in various visions so that he can be promoted actively as a global artist, so please give love and support," he said.

Irene also confirmed and mentioned her desire to continue her career with Red Velvet and with the staff.

"I'm updating because I believe in SM Entertainment, which makes me what I am now, and the company staff I've worked with since my debut," Irene said.

"I will provide diverse activities with members at the same time as thanks to fans who always support Red Velvet," he concluded.

Irene debuted as a member of Red Velvet in 2014 and released various hits. They just released their third album titled Chill Kill. Apart from singing, Irene also starred in several dramas and films.

Irene became the second member of Red Velvet to renew an exclusive contract after Seulgi.
