Expelled From Scream 7 For Defending Palestine, Melissa Barrera Surprised But Relaxed

JAKARTA - Melissa Barrera opened her voice for the first time after being fired from the production of the film Scream 7. She was expelled for voicing pro-Palestinian via her social media last year.

Barrera admitted that she was surprised but she tried to respond casually. On the other hand, he feels innocent because voicing for freedom is everyone's right.

"I'm not the first to experience it, but this is shocking. I don't even know what to say," Melissa Barrera told Rolling Stone.

"I think everything that happens is very transparent on both sides, and I know myself, and I know what I say always comes from a place of love and humanity and freedom for humans, which shouldn't be controversy," he explained.

Currently, the Your Monster star feels at peace with himself and most importantly his family and those closest to him know his condition.

"People who know me in my family know the truth about me and where I stand and I think people in the world also know that," he said.

Barrera also responded to news of Jenna Ortega leaving the production of the film Scream 7 moments after news of her being fired.

Listen, Jenna is a good egg. He is a good person and we love each other. He will support me and me too," Barrera said.

In addition to the two, director Christopher Total decided to leave the film production. Initially, he was appointed director for the seventh film in the Scream franchise.

Melissa Barrera was fired after voicing her support for Palestine through social media. Recently, he also participated in a demonstration at the Sundance Film Festival.
