JAKARTA - The committee announced the 96th Academy Award nomination which was the highest award in the film sector. Oppenheimer again led the nomination with 13 nominations followed by Poor Things by Yoorgos Lanthimos with 11 nominations.

Leonardo DiCaprio's latest film, Killers of the Flower Moon received 10 nominations. Barbie, who successfully led the box office, received 8 nominations including Best Film.

In this nomination, the first three films that entered the Best Film nomination were also directed by women. Martin Scorsese is also a record with the oldest director to receive a nomination.

The competition of actors and actresses is also getting fiercer with Cillian Murphy, Bradley Cooper, Colman Domingo, and others. Lily Gladstone became the first American woman to receive a nomination. She will compete with Emma Stone, Annette Bening, Sandra Huller, Carey Mulligan.
