Meira Anastasia Combines Adult Conflict And Drakor Love In Love Not As Beautiful As Korean Drama

JAKARTA - Meira Anastasia's admiration for Korean dramas brought her to her debut film entitled Cinta Tak As beautiful as Korean dramas. This film produced by Imaginari combines several things she likes and she wants to convey.

"For me, it's okay it's humane to have a problem. We want to create a character that is not too perfect but a character with all human problems and want to tell the audience that humane has their own problems," said Meira Anastasia as a director at a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday, November 28.

As producers, Ernest Prakasa and Dipa Andika are open to the story style of Meira Anastasia because they themselves don't know anything about Korean dramas and their surroundings.

"When the writing process occurs, we have a lot of debates, we have to do that, Drakor. So I think I'm trying to follow, believe in the creators," said Ernest Prakasa.

Furthermore, despite his debut as a director, Meira is still consulting Ernest to take scenes, especially when almost all scenes are taken in South Korea.

"Because this is the first film in a cinematographic manner, talking about how many shots, I consulted Ernest. When we were reading, we felt this couldn't be broken down," said Meira.

"With intense reading, we have to practice in Jakarta several times which we have taken quite a long time. I am also lucky to be assisted by players who have been seasonsed in their abilities," said Meira again.

I also really enjoyed writing time because it could be Tara, so Dhea, so Kikan. I miss the three of them because I read it every day. Feeling Dhea, Tara, Kikan became when he finished like he missed," he said.

Cinta Tak As Beautiful Korean drama tells the story of Dhea's friendship (Lutesha), Tara (Anya Geraldine), and Kikan (Dhea Panendra) which realizes their dream of having a vacation in Korea thanks to Dhea's lover, Bimo (Ganindro Bimo). Their vacation turned into a tense atmosphere after a figure from the past approached them.

The film Cinta Tak As Beautiful As Korean Drama will be showing in theaters starting December 5.
