SNSD's Seohyun And 2PM's Taecyeon Join Romance, First Night With The Duke

JAKARTA - Two actors as well as idols from the second generation of K-pop will compete acting in one title. SNSD's Seohyun and 2PM's Taecyeon are confirmed to star in the latest drama, The First Night with the Duke.

Seohyun will play Cha Sun Chaek, a woman born to her family. She dreamed of living comfortably and calmly but her life changed after a student named K entered her body.

Taecyeon will play Yi Beon who is a member of the royal family that Raja likes. Yi Beon is very good at martial arts and his visuals are very handsome but he keeps pain from the past because of an incident.

Apart from the two, this drama is also played by Kwon Han Sol as Jo Eun Ae, the female character who initially became the main character. She was supposed to be Yi Beon's last couple but the situation changed after a woman appeared in Yi Beon's life.

Then there is Seo Bum June who plays Jung Soo Kyum, a man who is Yi Beon's best friend. In addition, there is Ji Hye Won who becomes Do Hwa Sun.

Do Hwa Sun's character is said to want to marry Yi Beon and join the royal family so that he competes with other women.

The First Night with the Duke is a fantasy romance drama that tells the story of a student whose soul is swapped into a minor character in a romance novel and spending time playing the male lead.

Seohyun and Taecyeon have never competed acting in one title. However, during their active careers with their respective groups, they met in several advertisements in South Korea.

Meanwhile, the production of this drama is ongoing with a planned broadcast in 2025.
