JAKARTA - Actor Ryan Gosling is the latest name to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He will play Ghost Rider in a new film directed by Shawn Levy.
The script was written by Jonathan Tropper who worked on "Star Wars: Starfigher" and was played by Gosling. The latest Star Wars film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 28, 2027.
This news was first announced by Kevin Feige as the boss of Marvel Studio at the San Diego Comic Con. Shawn Levy and Ryan Gosling have also previously collaborated on the film "Deadpool & Wolverine".
"I feel the biggest flashback vibe here is because two years ago when we featured 'Deadpool & Wolverine'. I will never forget that night because I was introduced to an amazing fan base," said Shawn Levy, quoted by Variety.
"Gosling is something great. We spent time making 'Starfighter' and opportunities like Ryan talking about his character and I feel 'Bro, let's do it'. We'll see you in 2028!" he said.
