Ammar Zoni's Sadness That Can't Be Present At His Father's Cemetery

JAKARTA - Sad news came from Ammar Zoni's family who had to lose his father, Suhendri Zoni on Saturday, January 20 at 20.00 WIB yesterday due to liver cancer that he had been suffering from recently.

Reportedly Suhendri Zoni was buried at the Kalimulya 1 Public Cemetery (TPU), Depok, West Java on Sunday, January 21. Unfortunately, in this moment of mourning, Ammar Zoni could not be present to see firsthand because he was still being held at the West Jakarta Metro Police for a drug case.

Seeing this, his younger brother, Aditya Zoni, was disappointed with the police's decision. In fact, according to Adit, it is the progressive right of prisoners to be able to attend the funeral when a family dies.

"It's a progressive right for prisoners, the law is there. So, for example, if there are families who are dead, they can come for a while. Ammar is crying," said Aditya Zoni at TPU Kalimulya 1, Depok, Sunday, January 21.

Even so, Adit said that his brother had seen the moments of the late Suhendri Zoni's breath through a video call.

"Yes, I had a video call, that's it. Look at you," said Aditya Zoni.

At that moment Aditya said that his father did not have time to give Ammar the last message because his condition allowed him to speak.

"There is no (challenging). Because the death penalty is no longer able to say anything," he explained.

However, he admitted that his late father already knew about Ammar Zoni's divorce and detention case when his father's condition had begun to decline.

"I already know (the Ammar condition). Because when you didn't respond, we told you," he concluded.
