Congratulations, Penari Village KKN Film Wins Best Screenwriter Award In Macau

Happy news came from the MD Picture production house, where one of their production films, KKN Di Desa Penari, received the Best Screenwriter award. This award was obtained at the Asia Pacific Film Festival (FFAP) or the Asia Pacific Film Festival (APFF) Macau 2023. This event itself was held at the Andaz Hotel, Macau in December 2023. Seeing this, Executive Producer of MD Pictures, Manoj Punjabi expressed his gratitude for the film which had won 10 million viewers. "We are grateful to be able to screen the best letter of the Penari Village KKN at the Asian Pacific Film Festival," said Manoj Punjabi in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, Monday, January 15. This happiness was not only felt by Manoj Punjabi, Lele Laila as the screenwriter for the film KKN Di Desa Penari, but also expressed her gratitude for her highest achievement. According to Lele, this achievement is the next bonus after the film, directed by Awi Suryadi, received 10 million viewers. "It's good that after that we got the award from outside, but like it's actually the pleasure of KKN, we have received it with 10 million spectators," said Lele Laila.

"So this is actually an extraordinary bonus for us outside of the 10 million viewers. Hopefully this will inspire us to write a better story," continued Lele Laila. Manoj Punjabi hopes that with this achievement the image of the film KKN Di Desa Penari 2 will be even better. "Yes, yes. The name is like this, you know the story is appreciated, it's increasing the KKN brand image which is certain and KKN 2 is sure," he concluded.
