JAKARTA - Senior actor Yayu Unru passed away today, Friday, December 8. He died after battling a heart attack twice in the near future.

Yayu Unru first suffered a heart attack on December 5 at 21.00 WIB and December 6 at 06.00 WIB. Then he carried out a ring installation operation and his condition began to improve where he could do activities.

However, God's plan said otherwise. Yayu Unru died on Friday morning. This news was shared by a number of Yayu colleagues through social media.

Having a career since 1985, Yayu Unru is an actor who is also an acting coach. He developed Didi Petet's Working Team which develops talents of various Indonesian actors and actresses.

This departure is a sorrow for Indonesian cinema, especially actors and actresses who have worked with Yayu Unru.

Indah Permatasari, Yayu's co-star in the film Gara Gara Warisan wrote his tribute. He said, "I'm very happy to be playing with him, coincidentally we are the same from Makassar, it feels like you are. There was even one moment when filming that I would never forget, a happy moment with him. Condolences, hopefully given the best place by Allah SWT. Al-Fatiha.

Kiki Narendra uploaded a photo of Yayu Unru and wrote, "Always waiting for his post on Friday. It's bright and full of meaning. But this Friday is different. Khusnul Khotimah on a good day. Goodbye, mas, thank you for the knowledge and discussion. We will joke again later for sure."

Arya Saloka recalled when he received advice from Yayu about acting in the film Lembayung. "You left when I finished finishing my film. Thank you for keeping my shooting activities in a distance. Thank you for the knowledge so far."
