JAKARTA - Shocking news came from the young couple Yulhee and Minhwan FTISLAND. The two K-pop stars announced their divorce after five years of marriage.

Monday, December 4, Yulhee shared this news through her Instagram account to fans. The former LABOUM member said that this agreement was made by both parties.

Hello, this is Yulhee. Today I wrote this to share you tough topics and my heart is also tough, but I want to share this directly with those of you who support me," wrote Yulhee.

"After discussing, time, and effort, we decided to support each other separately. Even though our journey as a couple ended, our role as parents for our children was always there," he continued.

Yulhee also explained that their three children were living with Minhwan FTISLAND to avoid unwanted things.

We decided that it is best for them to stay where they live to accommodate realistic problems and minimize psychological pressure. In addition, I also often spend time with them to minimize their mother's absence," he continued.

"I'm quite worried in delivering this news, knowing that this may happen suddenly and confuse you considering the support you've all given us. Minhwan through his Instagram also wrote separately. He explained that this decision was made with all considerations.

Yulhee and Minhwan dated when Yulhee was still registered as a member of LABOUM in 2017. A year later, it was revealed that they had registered for marriage and Yulhee gave birth to her first child.

In 2020, Yulhee gave birth to twins but at the same time Minhwan announced his departure for military service.
