JAKARTA - Castaway Diva's latest Korean drama has drawn controversy after filming on Jeju Island. The production team did not go through the process of obtaining permission from the city government regarding the use of public water housing for filming.

The drama production team left a number of large stones that were used after filming. They did not clean up the rock used after finishing filming.

This allegation is further strengthened because the shape of the stone left is the same as the stone presented in one of the drama scenes. Koreans who saw this drama were furious.

"I've often seen dramas filming on Jeju Island, but this is the first time I've seen someone so irresponsible and not cleaning up themselves," local netizens said.

Regarding this controversy, the Castaway Diva production team apologized. They also explained the reason for leaving the stone just after finishing filming.

"We would like to express our deepest apologies for the inconvenience caused to the residents. Although we continue filming after explaining the production to residents and related organizations before, there are shortcomings in our filming and recovery process. We will return the filming location to its original state as soon as possible," the Castaway Diva drama production team said in a statement.
