7 Years In Prison, This Is Jessica Wongso's Activity Behind Bars

JAKARTA - The Cyanide Coffee case involving two friends Jessica Wongso and Mirna Salihin was completed in 2016. However, now, the case has again become a public conversation after Netflix released a documentary film entitled 'Ice Cold: Murderer, Coffee, and Jessica Wongso'.

It is known that in this case Jessica Wongso was found guilty by the court and sentenced to 20 years in prison for the murder of her best friend. Now, Jessica has served a 7-year sentence at the Class IIA Pondok Bambu Prison.

It has been a long time since news has been heard, Jessica Wongso's attorney, Otto Hasibuan, revealed the latest news from his client through an interview with Deddy Corbuzier on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel. Otto said that his client's condition was fine and in good health.

"It's been 7 years since I've been visiting him in prison, he's very healthy," said Otto Hasibuan, quoted by VOI from Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel, Sunday, October 8.

Not only that, Otto even said that his client was quite active while in prison. Jessica turned out to be helping other prisoners in English, besides that she also became a designer for purposes in prisons.

"He is smart, there he gives English teaching to prisoners in prison. He becomes a designer there, if there is a need what he is designed for," continued Otto.
