The Reason Why Adipati Dolken Was Involved In The Big Plan Series: This Genre Is Rare!

JAKARTA - Big plan is one of the newest Indonesian series to be broadcast on Prime Video. This series stars actors such as Chicco Kurniawan, Dwi Sasono, and Adipati Dolken.

Adipati explained that the involvement in this series is also based on the rare political genres raised in fictional stories.

"The first time I was offered this, I immediately thought about what it would be like. It must be massive, you have to be big, afraid to bear it. Later, it will be a Stage Plan," said Adipati Dolken in an interview session with the Big Plan on Friday, September 29.

Adipati recalled that when he received the script for this series, there were still many things that had not been solved, including the background of his character.

There are many things that need to be garnered. It turns out that the profit of the script is not perfect, making us talk and asking questions. Because we are not lazy. Finally, we find out for ourselves for our characters, attachmentd to our characters," explained Adipati.

"I'm doing what I'm here for, at the initial work it didn't exist until I ended up chatting with Mr. Danial (Rifki). We're looking for a correlation. Discussion like that keeps happening until we shoot, so we don't stop until we just read it, but until shooting," he said again.

The 32-year-old actor is happy to be joining this series, because he rarely finds series with genres like this in Indonesia.

"I'm grateful that this series has finally opened up what savings I've worked on because it's rare for this genre and it can be on that occasion, it doesn't always exist, so I'm happy," said Adipati Dolken.

"Personal I feel the spirit of being carried by my story and character. And it does make his spirit big," he said.

The Big Plan series tells the story of four UBI employees suspected of being the mastermind behind embezzlement of Rp17 billion in funds. A police officer who is looking into this case actually finds a bank case that is more than just a financial loss.

Adipati Dolken plays Rifad, a trade union leader in UBI who is dragged into a case of embezzlement of Rp17 billion in funds.

Written and directed by Danial Rifki, the series is played by Dwi Sasono, Adipati Dolken, Prisia Nasution, Chicco Kurniawan, and Hanggini. All episodes of the Big Plan series can be watched starting October 5, 2023.
